The first of a new line of terrain products - HeXXed Terrain Tiles are an easy and fast way for hobbyists to create versatile and durable scenery for wargames with minimum tools and effort.

The initial product set are the base tiles which will allow you to quickly create a variety of hexagonal based terrain boards. Each full tile measures 11 3/4" from opposing corners, and they are made of solid 1/4" MDF which will avoid warping even under some of the most trying of conditions.

In addition to full tiles, we offer a complete set of partial tiles which will allow you to deal with table edges and corners. Adjoining tile edges are also pre-drilled to receive 3/16" pins or dowels to prevent tiles from slipping or to join multiple tiles to create larger feature tiles for buildings or forests.

Durable Finishes

When you are painting a miniature that will get a lot of use, be sure to spend extra time on the clear coat varnishes to finish it off. This will prevent chips and wear from showing and save you the hassle of repainting.

The most durable finish is a pure clear coat as opposed to a matte finish. In order to get the best of both worlds do one or two coats with a gloss clear coat and follow it with one or two coats of matte. The gloss will protect the paint job, while the matte finish will help to reduce glare.
