BOLTER & CHAINSWORD DICE

The Details

The dice are produced by Q-Workshop out of Poland.

The dice are 16mm (same size as the GW scatter dice) and square cut:

Here is an example of a Q-workshop dice so you can see the cut:

Colors: We have several color combos available, see details below.

Cost: Assuming we meet the quantity requirements the dice will be $2 each, dice bags will be $10 each and shipping will be a flat rate. See details below

THE DICE

The B&C Logo face is the 6 (six) face on the dice.
The B&C skull (in various combos) make up the 1 through 5 faces. The 5 face is shown as the example.
We have 6 color combos for you to pick from for your dice:

White & Black

White & Red

Black & White

Black & Red

Red & White

Red & Black

DICE BAGS

Q-Workshop also does dice bags and cups. We decided to go with dice bags. Here is a sample pic of a blank bag. The B&C Bag will have our logo printed on the bag:

COST: Dice, Dice Bag and Shipping

DICE

Dice are $2.00 (US) each. Now this includes us getting a discount for having a VAT Registration and (the key part) getting at least 2,000 dice ordered. If we don't hit that 2k mark the price would go up somewhat but I don't think 2k is gonna be an issue. All we ask is that if you order dice you get at least 10 dice. Though there is no limit to the # you can order, nor in what color combo. So if you want 50 red-white and 50 white-black dice then that is doable!

DICE BAG

Dice bags are $10 each if we get at least 100 of them ordered. If not then the price will go up but again, I don't think it will be an issue.

SHIPPING

USA: $8.00
REST OF WORLD: $12.00

Thanks to the joys of flat rate shipping the shipping rates aren't too bad on the dice. However if you order over 100 dice we might not be able to get it into the flat rate package which means a slight increase but that won't be more than a few dollars.

Alternatively, if you have also ordered a B&C Army bag we can just pack your dice into your bag when it is all ready to ship and you won't have to pay any extra shipping.

ORDERING

Ok we need some basic information from you first:
Your name:
User name or Display name from the B&C:
Number and type of dice you want: for example 25 R-W (red-white) and 25 W-B (white-black)
Number of Dice Bags you want:
Your full address: Please note if you are outside the USA we also need your phone # (no we are not going to call you). This is necessary for the customs forms.

Please email all that info to:

PLEASE MAKE SURE THE EMAIL YOU SEND FROM IS THE EMAIL YOU WISH TO BE CONTACTED AT!!

Once we hit that 2k mark we'll start sending out invoices. Payment is done via Paypal.

Turn around time on the dice is 12 weeks from the time we pay. Final day to order is June 30th. The order will be placed on July 1. Since we are going to pay in full at the start rather than "half-n-half" we are putting the payment deadline as August 1st, 2008. If you haven't got your order/payment in by that date then you are out of luck for this run of dice.

So to reiterate:
Final day to get your order in for dice/dice bags is June 30th, 2008
Order will be placed on July 1st, 2008
Final day to pay for your order is August 1st, 2008
Estimated day that dice will be ready to ship to Kurgan to be repacked and shipped: October 1, 2008 -- please note it may take longer but the dice should be ready in October and then once they arrive to Kurgan they will be repackaged into the individual orders and shipped out so everyone should have theirs within a month of the dice being shipped to Kurgan.

If you fail to pay by August 1 your dice are forfeit and will be offered to anyone on the standby list on a first come, first serve basis

If this order goes as well as we think it will, the dice will become a regular thing here at the B&C just like the army bags.

Oh it is that time of year again to get the ball rolling on the Mk. II's.

For those who don't know what we are talking about, take a look here:
http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...111562&st=0

I went down to the BagMaker today and talked to them about a Mk. III variant. It wouldn't be a solid case but it would have more rigid sides than the existing bag (though that has never been an issue in my experience). They will be getting back to me this week on cost for such a bag.

We are also looking at possibly replacing the screen printing with embroidery for the logo. This too requires a bit of time for them to get back to me on additional fees.

In the event that the a more rigid system isn't feasibly and/or the embroidery winds up being too much per bag at cost we are still going to order the existing style Mk. II bags.

Either way there is going to be some cost increase. If it is a standard Mk. II it won't be much, however the Mk. IIIs or embroidery will add a decent amount to each bag -- though I can only guess right now. Once we have more info we'll update you.

As you may recall the BagMaker is a government contractor here in the States and as such when the Army or Marines say they need x pieces of kit then that takes priority one for them. Currently they are booked up right so even if we put the order in today the earliest we would see the bags is August, as we would like to give folks a couple months to get funds together I don't see us putting the order in before June or July which means Sept. for delivery.

So if you missed out last time, need more of the bags for your Apocalypse army or something, we need to start a list of those who are interested. So if you are interested please send an email with the title BnC Army Bag Interest to:

Please include your Display name from the board.

CURRENT BAG INTEREST:
Mk. I -- 5
Mk. II -- 2
Mk. III - 27
